Music and Dance "They teach you that there is a boundary line to music...but how can there be a limit to an art?" Today, our daily lives are filled with limitations and rules. One place in the entire universe, where there are no rules and regulations, is the world of music. KAMS wants students to be able to express their own ideas, to be able to live in their own world for some time, to be able to learn what kind of a person they really are from the inside. To do this, we provide a variety of instruments for the students to play with and be able to learn the power of sound and music in their lives. The Music Room is equipped with Yamaha keyboards; having two pairs of headphones so that students can work together without disturbing others. Library The library is the treasure trove of Kams Convent School . It is well stocked with books, encyclopedias, CDs etc. It is a resource center which makes an invaluable contribution towards enriching our students’ knowledge bank. Each section i.e. Pre-Primary, Primary & Secondary, have their own library. Myriad books on history, literature, fictions, science, classics as well as guidebooks for various competitive exams are there in the library. The students can enjoy reading in a calm and serene ambiance and get the books issued to take home. MEDICAL ROOM We have a well equipped medical room with a full time trained nurse to provide necessary first aid to the students in time of emergency. An annual health check up including dental and eye check-up by specialists is a regular feature along with maintaining medical record of each and every child. Health advisory on prevention of various illnesses like swine flu, dengue, chicken pox, etc. is also a regular feature. Students will be provided first aid only in the school premises in case of medical problem. In case of chronic diseases, school will only inform the parents telephonically. Parents will be expected to reach school at the earliest. Expenses on first aid will be borne by the school.
